Loki Season 2 is airing on October 6th and fans are excited to see how the god of mischief will face off Kang and the Time Variance Authority. With Kang becoming a more powerful threat in each new release, the Marvel Cinematic Universe finds itself facing an unprecedented multiversal threat. The only one who seems to fully understand the danger that Kang poses is Loki. As such, Loki’s understanding of the threat posed by Kang and the multiverse makes him a valuable asset to the Avengers in future movies, namely Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, as he can provide crucial information on how to defeat their new enemy.
Loki is the only one to completely understand how menacing the variants of He Who Remains are, in addition to knowing how disastrous a multiversal war can be. For this reason, he is last seen in Season 1 trying to warn Mobius of He Who Remains, only to see that a variant of Kang has already taken over the TVA. Loki’s personality has drastically changed in the series. Because of this, he can potentially become the Avengers’ greatest ally in the future, by giving vital information regarding Kang’s motives and his way of thinking. This way, Loki will further evolve his character in the MCU, while also bridging the multiversal storyline between the series and the movies.
