–Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania – February 17, 2023
All Marvels movies : The Ant-Man franchise returned in 2023 as Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania released on February 17, 2023. The sequel came over four years after audiences saw Ant-Man and the Wasp. Director Peyton Reed returned for the trilogy capper, which once again featured Paul Rudd in the lead role as Scott Lang, a.k.a. Ant-Man. Ant-Man 3’s other returning cast members included Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne, a.k.a. the Wasp, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, and Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne. The movie also saw Kathryn Newton play Cassie Lang in another MCU recasting, while Jonathan Majors played the MCU’s new major villain, Kang the Conqueror.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 – May 5, 2023
The Guardians of the Galaxy got one more mission together with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Once again written and directed by James Gunn, the sequel comes almost six years exactly since the team last got a solo movie. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 brings back the franchise’s main characters and stars: Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldaña as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Vin Diesel as Groot, Karen Gillan as Nebula, and Pom Klementieff as Nebula. The sequel also features major new MCU additions with the High Evolutionary (Chukwudi Iwuji) and Adam Warlock (Will Poulter).
Secret Invasion 21 June 2023
The story involves a subversive, long-term invasion of Earth by the Skrulls, a group of alien shapeshifters who have secretly replaced many superheroes in the Marvel Universe with impostors over a period of years, prior to the overt invasion.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse – June 2, 2023
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse released on June 2, 2023, reintroducing audiences to Miles Morales, voiced by Shameik Moore, who has now been Spider-Man for over a year. Coming from the directing trio of Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin Thompson, with a script penned by Phil Lord, Chris Miller, and Dave Callaham. The Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse sequel returns not only Miles Morales but also Hailee Steinfeld as Spider-Woman and Jake Johnson as Peter B. Parker. It also brings Spider-Man 2099 (Oscar Isaac), Spider-Woman (Issa Rae), and Spider-Punk (Daniel Kaluuya) into the mix, among many others.

The Marvels – November 10, 2023
Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. However, unintended consequences see her shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with two other superheroes to form the Marvels.
I Am Groot Season 2 – September 6
In a surprise announcement, I Am Groot season 2 was added to the MCU release slate ahead of Loki season 2’s release. The short season will once again comprise 5 shorts, all dropping at once on Disney+ on September 6. I am Groot’s canon status is questionable, with James Gunn claiming it’s not official MCU canon, but events in the shorts suggesting otherwise.
Loki Season 2 – October 6
Tom Hiddleston’s God Of Mischief returns once more in Loki season 2, which lands on Disney+ starting on October 6. Once more dropping Loki into Marvel’s multiverse chaos, season 2 introduces another Kang variant, in the shape of Jonathan Majors’ Victor Timely, brings back Owen Wilson’s TVA agent Mobius, Sophia Di Martino’s Sylvie, and most of season 1’s cast. Indiana Jones star Ke Huy Quan also debuts as OB, another TVA employee, as Loki is charged with saving the Sacred Timeline.
What If…? Season 2 – TBC 2023
While What If…? season 2’s release date is so far uncertain, rumor has it it will arrive either at the end of 2023 or at the start of 2024 on Disney+. The animated show will once more explore elseworlds MCU stories, with both Tony Stark and Steve Rogers set to return in the only two confirmed episodes. Stark will appear on Sakaar in an episode that was originally planned for What If…? season 1 alongside Gamora, while Rogers will play the Hydra Stomper in an episode opposite Hayley Atwell’s Captain Carter. Both The Watcher (Jeffrey Wright) and Goliath (Laurence Fishburne) are set to appear in unknown episodes.
