The new year has started with problems in the country. Now the wheels of vehicles have started stopping in Uttarakhand also in protest against the change in hit and run law. In the condition of traffic jam due to traffic jam by the drivers, the danger of increase in inflation in the items of common life is looming.

If the opposition to the change in law intensifies, it is likely to have a direct impact on the road supply chain. Due to the truck strike, there will be no arrival of milk, vegetables and fruits and its direct impact will be seen on the prices. The supply of petrol and diesel may also stop, which will cause problems in local transport and movement of common people.  Drivers have now started blocking roads in Uttarakhand along with Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and UP.

In protest against the Hit and Run law of the Central Government in Uttarakhand, all the drivers of IOC, HP and Bharat Gas based in Thithola remained on strike by blocking the wheel. Due to the drivers of all three depots being on strike, the danger of deepening the oil and gas crisis in Garhwal division is looming. More than 150 vehicles of Indian Oil Corporation located in Thithola supply petrol, diesel and kerosene in Garhwal division. Similarly, Hindustan Petroleum also supplies about 100 vehicles of diesel, petrol and kerosene in the state.

There is a Bharat Gas depot in Thithola. Here too, about 100 vehicles supply LPG in the state. The drivers of all three depots have gone on strike by blocking the road in protest against the hit and run law. The drivers say that until the central government announces the repeal of this new law, they will not return to work. TM Kishore Rawat of IOC depot says that the drivers have gone on strike without giving the letter. Drivers should have been given a letter in this regard earlier.

Transport Nagar Traders Association protested by raising slogans in TP Nagar regarding the new provision of Hit and Run Law in Haldwani, Nainital, the main gateway of Kumaon. Expressing concern over the new provision, he demanded the Central Government to reconsider the law. Under the banner of the association, truck drivers and transport businessmen gathered at TP Nagar Gate. Transporters said the new provisions on hit and run cases have created fear among truck drivers. Many truck drivers have left the job.

In such a situation, the transport business is in danger. There is a lot of anger among the truck drivers in the entire state and the country regarding the new hit and run law of the Central Government. There was also a huge protest against the hit and run law in Lalkuan, where the drivers started the strike from morning and there is support for this strike. Tempo drivers also said that since morning the wheels of tempos, trucks and dumpers have stopped due to which the commuters have to face a lot of trouble.  Meanwhile, Congress also supported the truck drivers’ strike and demanded the early withdrawal of this law.  Let us tell you that today there was a lot of anger among the truck drivers in Lalkuan regarding the new law of the Central Government on Hit and Run.

The truck drivers protesting against the law parked their trucks on the roads and the tempo drivers also parked their vehicles in protest against the law. Due to which passengers were seen coming and going on foot.

The same Congress has now openly come out in support of the truck drivers. Meanwhile, Congress District General Secretary Bhuvan Paden said that this black law should be withdrawn as soon as possible. He said that a poor truck driver drives for a nominal salary, in such a situation, under the new law made by the government, how will that poor driver pay the amount in case of an accident and how will his family be supported if he is sentenced to ten years of imprisonment.  He demanded the government to withdraw this black law against truck drivers as soon as possible. He has also warned that if the law is not withdrawn soon,

Congress will be forced to carry out violent protests across the country along with truck drivers.  Know why there is protest – What was there before and what will happen now – Now hit and run case has been registered under sections 279 (negligent driving), 304A (death due to negligence) and 338 (putting life in danger) of IPC. goes.
