Roorkee. On October 25, late Satveer son of Dharampur Jhabreda resident. A case was registered at Jhabreda police station against Adnan and other unknown bike riding accused by Rampal Bhati in connection with the firing at his shop in Iqbalpur.  Investigation revealed that due to a dispute between minor youths during tuition, the minor’s friend Adnan along with his friend Suhail and three other minor youths fired a pistol with the aim of intimidating the plaintiff and showing dominance.

In the said case, SSP Haridwar was directed to uncover the incident and arrest the accused who was showing dominance by using illegal weapons.  In compliance with which, accused Adnan was arrested by the Jhabreda police team from the police station area along with the pistol 315 bore and 1 live cartridge used in the incident. Legal action is underway against the other accused and three juveniles who came to light. The arrested accused include Adnan son of Alikhan, resident of village Baleki Yusufpur police station Bhagwanpur.

The police team included SHO Manoj Kumar, outpost in-charge Iqbalpur, SHO Birendra Sharma.
