It is extremely hot now in Uttarakhand. Even during the day, the sun is not visible due to fog in the sky. Due to this the maximum temperature is falling. Cold day conditions are being formed in the plains of Haridwar, Mortar, Apartment and Udham Singh Nagar, Grade 1 mainly due to coming down.
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding the cold day. The weather remains dry in Uttarakhand and there is no chance of rain at present. It is sunny in most areas. Fog persists in the plains. Despite the bright sunshine, shivering is also being relieved during the day due to the cold winds.
Due to cold winds in the state, a decline in maximum temperature has also been recorded. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of cold day conditions in the plains of Haridwar, Nainital, Pauri and Udham Singh Nagar districts today and tomorrow.
On Wednesday, the maximum temperature of Dehradun was 21.5 degrees Celsius, two degrees Celsius above normal and the minimum temperature was 5.4 degrees Celsius, one degree below normal. According to Vikram Singh, Director of Meteorological Center, frost in the hilly areas and fog in the plains may increase the problem in the state for the next few days.
There is a possibility of cold outbreak in Dehradun. On the other hand, cold outbreak is increasing due to dry cold. People are suffering from dry cough and cold due to dry cold. Every day, there are queues of patients suffering from viral fever in hospitals, among whom there are more children and elderly patients.
Doctors are advising such patients to take medicines on time and adopt measures to prevent cold. Especially respiratory patients are being instructed to protect themselves from cold. The risk of infection-borne diseases is also increasing due to dry cold. For this, doctors are asking first of all to pay special attention to prevention of cold and daily routine.
Due to severe cold, public transport is also being affected. Bus, train and air services are being affected due to fog, while passengers are also avoiding traveling due to severe cold.
