A house in Nainital, Uttarakhand was gutted due to fire. Two fire service vehicles arrived and brought the fire under control. A fire broke out in the out house of Melville Hall near Silverton Hotel on Mall Road, Nainital. It was told that only one Nepali lived in the out house. After the fire, local Arun Kumar Sah informed the fire department and police.

The electricity department shut down electricity in the area. Small and big fire engines reached the spot. At the time of the incident, Napali, who was living in the outhouse, had gone out. After the fire, the burning poles started falling from the roof of the house. Initially, after there was a water shortage, nearby hotel owners provided water from their water tanks.

Fire LFM Harnam said that as soon as he received the information, his vehicles reached the spot. After this the fire was brought under control. It is feared that the fire may have started due to short circuit. Apart from the fire service, local people helped in extinguishing the fire.
