Uttarakhand: Dehradun – On the day of consecration of the idol of Ram Lala in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex on 22 January in Ayodhya, all government offices, institutions, industrial establishments and banks/treasury/sub-treasury of the state will remain closed for half a day under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881. (till 2.30 pm) will remain closed like the Central Government. All the educational institutions (schools and colleges) of the state will remain closed.

 

 

It has been confirmed to organize the consecration of Lord Shri Ram Lala Ji at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex in Ayodhya on 22.01.2024 (Monday). In this regard, after due consideration, it has been decided that all the government offices, institutions, industrial establishments and banks/treasuries/sub-treasuries of the state will remain closed for half a day (till 2.30 pm) on 22.01.2024 (Monday) under the Negotiable Instruments Act 1881. Will remain closed like the Central Government.

The Uttarakhand government has declared a half-day holiday in government offices on January 22 due to the Pran Pratistha ceremony of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Orders have been issued in this regard.
