Due to the construction of High Court in Haldwani of Uttarakhand-Nainital district, the area around Gaula river has been declared as freeze zone. The Housing Department has issued a notification and banned all construction and development activities here until the master plan is made.

 

 

 

According to the notification issued, under Section 3 of the Uttarakhand Town and Country Planning and Development Act 1973, the proposed construction site of the High Court at Gaulapar has been declared a development area of ​​the District Level Development Authority, Nainital.

 

 

 

Under Section 7 of this Act, here in the east up to the limit of the road leading to Village Deval Malla, Village Deval Talla and Village Kunwarpur, in the west up to the banks of Gaul River, in the north from the banks of Gaula River to Village Navarkheda, Village Kishan. City. The area from the river bank to the intersection of the road leading to Lankeshwar Mahadev Temple in the south, up to the intersection of the road leading to Lankeshwar Mahadev Temple will remain a freeze zone.

 

 

 

No construction related activity will be possible in this area. It is noteworthy that in the recent cabinet meeting, a decision was taken to declare this area as a freeze zone. Now the Housing Department will prepare the master plan here. Only after that construction can be done.
