Big news of Uttarakhand Mitra Police is coming out, SSP of Nainital district Prahlad Narayan Meena has put 5 police personnel including the outpost in-charge on the line for negligence in duty. According to the information received, the case is of gross negligence during duty and It is said to be related to indiscipline.

According to the information, inspection of police posts was going on on the instructions of SSP Prahlad Meena. The incident is said to have happened on the night of 22nd January when SP City Harbans Singh reached Lamchaud reporting post under Mukhani police station of Haldwani city. In the same sequence, in Nainital district, SP City caught the outpost incharge and his fellow staff red handed during a surprise inspection after leaving their duty and gambling by playing cards inside the outpost.

On receiving the report of the case, the SSP also got the investigation done at his level. On confirmation, the SSP put the entire Lamachaur reporting police post of Haldwani on line. On Tuesday, SSP Meena booked post incharge Sunil Goswami, head constable Bhupendra Singh, constable Shankar Singh, Dheeraj Sugra and driver on charges of negligence in duty and indiscipline. Constable Soban Singh has been put on the line.
