Uttarakhand: News of a horrific accident is coming from Kichha in Udham Singh Nagar district. In which two people are said to have died. There was a horrific collision between a Fortuner and a speeding truck at Pipliya turn in Kichha. Two people traveling in the car died in the accident. The family members have been informed about the incident.
The deceased include Shiva Gupta (24), resident of Jehanabad Pilibhit and Asif (35), resident of Bypass Road Nawabganj Pilibhit. Police have sent the bodies to Rudrapur for post-mortem.
At around 3 am on Wednesday morning, a horrific road accident took place in front of the petrol pump near Pipliya turn on Sitarganj road. It is being told that Fortuner car number UK 03B 2626 going from Kichha towards Sitarganj collided with a truck at high speed. There were three people in the car during the incident. After the incident, the unknown truck driver fled towards Sitarganj with the vehicle.
After receiving information on dial 112, Kichha police station in-charge Sundaram Sharma reached the spot with the police team and started the rescue operation in the heavy fog. Amidst the dense fog and severe cold, the police team and others including Madan Singh Rawat of the fire brigade, with difficulty pulled out three youths trapped in the damaged car and sent them to the government hospital in Kichha for treatment. After getting information about the accident, Police Officer Om Prakash Sharma also reached the spot and gathered information about the incident.
After police information, the relatives of the injured also reached Kichha. 24-year-old Shiva Gupta, son of Durga Charan Gupta, resident of Jehanabad, District Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh, and 32-year-old Asif Ahmed, son of Jamil Ahmed, resident of Bypass Road, Nawabganj, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, were declared dead by the doctors in the government hospital. The family members who reached Kichha identified the deceased as Shiva Gupta and Asif Ahmed.
It is being told that the mother of deceased Shiva Gupta is the president of Jehanabad Nagar Panchayat. There is chaos among the family members after the incident. Shiva, son of Ramesh Chand, resident of Jehanabad, Pilibhit, who was injured in the incident, was taken by his family members to Bareilly for treatment through ambulance. The condition of injured Shiva is also said to be worrying.
At present, the police have filled the Panchnama of the dead bodies and sent them for post-mortem. After the death of Shiva Gupta and Asif Ahmed, dozens of people reached Rudrapur post mortem house. After the death of the youth, the family members are in bad condition and crying. SP Crime Chandrashekhar Ghodke said that at present the police is investigating the case and searching for the truck and after receiving the complaint from the family members, further action will be taken after registering a report.
