In Nainital district of Uttarakhand, the District Magistrate has issued orders for approval of three local holidays. In which Nandashtami on 11th September, Ashtami Shraddha on 24th September and Navami Shraddha on 25th September have been declared as local holidays.
Using the powers given along with the restrictions given in Para 247 of Nainital Manual of Government Orders, the following 03 (three) local holidays are hereby declared in all the offices / institutions of Nainital district (except bank / treasury / sub-treasury) for the calendar year 2024. Approval is given to do so.
